Millstone is a master-planned community in Hendersonville, TN, a fast growing suburb of Nashville. Goodall Homes (2014 National Builder of the Year) hired Handshoe to help envision the Millstone brand from initial concept through environmental and signage design.
We created a brand identity for the Millstone community, including all aspects of integrated marketing, messaging, architectural style and finishes of the community amenities, environmental design, signage and advertising.
Handshoe’s role with the Millstone community integrated a rural farm lifestyle brand with modern amenities of new homes. The Millstone brand essence was integrated into every element of the community, from the water powered mill which serves as a main architectural feature, to the neighborhood names, community engagement events and the interior design of the sales center. Phase one of home sales has begun and sales results are positive. Goodall Homes was named one of the top 100 builders in the nation in 2016 (Builder Magazine) and in May, the company was purchased by Warren Buffet.
